WACO YMF-5

Timeless Design, Perfectly Timed

The very best things in life are ageless—defined by classic design, exceptional craftsmanship and enduring appeal. The WACO YMF-5 embodies that ideal. A rare fusion of heritage and 21st century performance, it speaks to those who value keeping tradition and embracing technology. The WACO YMF-5 modern biplane – the time is now.

Classic Roots, Pure Flying Passion

Faithful to the Golden Age of biplanes, the all-new construction WACO YMF-5 features a corrosion-resistant welded steel-tube structure, Jacobs radial engine, staggered wings and dual open cockpits—pilot in back, room for two up front. Modern touches include all-weather fabric, rain covers, glass cockpit options and composite propeller.

A Modern Biplane Like Nothing Else

The heart of the experience is timeless: stick-and-rudder, wind in your face, open cockpit biplane flying. This is piloting, this is passion.
