It takes a large, dedicated team of experienced craftsmen at the WACO factory in Battle Creek, Michigan, to expertly employ our handcrafted techniques, and we’ve been doing it since 1983.

WACO Aircraft Corporation currently produces two biplanes; the WACO YMF-5 and the Great Lakes 2T-1A-2. These biplanes are produced by hand - based on original techniques from the 1920's and 1930's. Although they may appear to be original aircraft, these flying machines are brand new and feature modern technology for improved flying characteristics and safety.
